Interviewer: I'm sitting here with Mr. Daniels — we just finished closing on his house. This is a house he's owned for a long time, and it was finally time for him to move on. In your own words, Mr. Daniels, how did you feel the process went?

Mr. Daniels: I think it went smoothly, easy. If I had to do it again, I'd definitely do it.

Interviewer: Tell us a little about your timeline and your situation.

Mr. Daniels: Well, Jordan came in after I went online, you know, wanting to see if somebody could buy the house. He came by and we talked about it, and we came up to a price — and this was in November. And I said, Jordan, I can't move with Christmas is off. So he set it up for January the 15th. Then I actually needed a little bit more time, and we finally were able to do it January the 30th. And they were there, and that's it — that's all I had to do. Signed the papers, and done.

Interviewer: So we had scheduled a closing time, but then you said, I need a little more time to get my stuff out — is that okay? And that was perfectly fine. We were able to work on your time frame.

Mr. Daniels: Absolutely. I would definitely recommend them — if I've got any friends that need to sell their house, I will recommend them.

Interviewer: That is the best compliment you could have just paid me. Thank you so much.

Sold an inherited home fast — and got the move-out time he needed.

Interviewer: I'm sitting here with Chip — we just finished closing on his house here in Mooresville. Chip, tell us a little bit about how things went and how you feel.

Chip: I am so excited to be here today. I inherited a house a little bit over a year ago, and I decided I would rather get out from under it. I made one phone call, and that same day I had an offer on my home. I needed to stay in the home for six weeks to take care of some family business, and I was allowed to do that. Then I just stepped into closing today — I was in and out the door in twenty minutes. I don't think I could ask for anything better.

Interviewer: You're very pleased with how things went?

Chip: Most definitely. It was just a very easy experience, kind people, and just a very, very easy transaction to take care of.

Interviewer: What about the level of communication?

Chip: The level of communication was tremendous. We were back and forth whenever we needed to communicate; we set times out for future communications, and those were met on time, every time. I couldn't ask for anything better.

Interviewer: Hello — today I'm here with Mr. and Mrs. Upchurch. We just finished a closing here at the attorney's office. They had two rental properties they'd owned for a long time, and we just bought them. How did you feel the process went, Mrs. Upchurch?

Mrs. Upchurch: Very well. Very good.

Interviewer: Mr. Upchurch — we first talked to you and we'd never even met before today; we did everything over the phone. How did you feel things went?

Mr. Upchurch: You were very patient people, very professional and friendly.

Interviewer: So you felt everything that we said we would do, we did — and we did it in a timely manner?

Mr. Upchurch: Absolutely. Wonderful.

Interviewer: And you're very happy with everything? Well, thank you so much — it was such a pleasure meeting you both.

Vicki & John — Cherryville, NC

Sold mid-remodel — an unfinished project we bought exactly as it stood.

Interviewer: I'm sitting here with Vicki and John — we just finished closing on their house, and I want them to talk a little bit about how the process went. How did you feel about things?

John: I think it was smooth, it was easy. We had a great experience right from the beginning — from Jordan first coming out and visiting us and making the initial offer, through the whole process, right until now. It was as carefree as you could imagine.

Vicki: For me, I loved the idea that I was able to message you and he messaged me right back, all the time. It was a much more personal feel to the whole thing. I thought this would be something very distant — and it was definitely warm and fuzzy. You think of going with a flipper... I just couldn't believe how easy it was.

The Waggoners — Gastonia, NC

Closed in about nine days — "an answer to prayer."

Read the transcript

Interviewer: ...about nine days. And I just wondered if you guys are happy with everything — if you could just tell a little of your story and how things went.

Mr. Waggoner: Yeah, I'm more than happy. I'd spoken with another investor before I talked with Julie at your firm. Julie was so sincere, and I just felt that she was different. I told my wife, I said, I'm going to deal with one more investor — and they just seemed different. And they are, and they were. It was a very easy sale, and we agreed to the numbers pretty quickly. It was meant to be.

Interviewer: And you're happy?

Mr. Waggoner: I'm very happy. Another chapter of our life has been completed, and we look forward to the next chapters.

Mrs. Waggoner: We'd say it was an answer to prayer.

From the Case Files

A few purchases that show what "any situation" actually means.

Relocated out of state in ten days

A death in the family meant John and Brenda needed to leave Shelby quickly — no time to fix up or clean out. We bought the house as-is, and from their first call to closing took ten days.

The rental the tenants left behind

Peter's Troutman rental came back with broken pipes and rooms full of what the tenants abandoned. He was done being a landlord. Twelve days after we first met, the house was ours and the cash was his — his daughter Kathy tells it on video.

Two houses, one parcel, zero cleanup

Charles and Terry had two houses on a nice Mount Holly parcel they'd meant to renovate — but after years vacant, they wanted out without touching the contents. One closing, under three weeks, everything handled.

Patricia's two houses — and the tenant she protected

After losing her husband, Patricia owned three homes and no plan. She sold us two in one transaction — a vacation home four hours away (we drove out) and a rental. Her one request: the single dad renting the second house had to be able to stay. We kept the tenant in place, closed quickly, and she says on camera she'd tell anyone: call.

An estate with too many moving parts

An inherited house in disrepair, multiple heirs, and title questions that had stalled everything — our paralegal worked through the title issues and we closed in just over a week from agreement.
